I've been an avid photographer since 2020 experimenting with nature, people, and cityscapes. In the summer of 2025 I began freelance work to interior spaces as a way to better understand how environments shape experience. What began as curiosity about light and composition became a deeper exploration of spatial storytelling — learning how architecture, material, and layout influence how a space feels. Interior photography became a lens (literally and figuratively) for studying design in its physical form. I was drawn not just to aesthetics, but to the decisions behind them — how light moves through a room, how textures create warmth, how negative space creates calm.

As I worked across residential and small commercial spaces, I found myself thinking less like a photographer and more like a designer — asking what the intention of the space was, and how to visually translate that intention with clarity.

What began as documentation evolved into a practice of interpretation.

Through years of experimentation, I learned how to:

  • Translate physical environments into compelling visual narratives

  • Use composition, framing, and natural light to emphasize hierarchy and flow

  • Highlight material detail and craftsmanship without overwhelming the viewer

  • Plan and direct shoots with intentional shot lists and spatial awareness

  • Refine images in post-production while preserving authenticity

  • Collaborate with designers to align imagery with brand identity and project goals

This practice sharpened my eye for detail and deepened my understanding of space, atmosphere, and user experience. It continues to influence how I approach design work today — with greater sensitivity to environment, clarity, and the emotional impact of physical systems.
